Beveled, Sandblasted & Copper Foil Glass
BEVELED GLASS, usually clear, is machine grounded and polished to an angled or slanted edge creating a 1/2 inch boarder on all sides.
SANDBLASTING involves a machine that sprays sand under high pressure to give the glass an opaque look for privacy, pictures, words and designs.
COPPER FOIL comes in thin rolls ( 3/8 ” ) with an adhesive back which is pressed on the edge of each piece of glass. Next the copper edges are soldered together to give strength to the window and leaving thin elegant lines in the design.
Glass Window Repair
I have repaired stained glass windows that are over a 100 years old to newly built homes. They are taken out of the existing frames and a security board is screwed back in place. A paper template is made for each broken piece of glass then cut and fitted back into the window design for an original look.
